Introduction to optical setting

This course is a specialist course for optical setting. Using a microscope to work, learn how to drill, burr and set stones using GRS graver max. Learn settings such as star, gypsy, castle, and fish tail. This is technically challenging and requires some extra practice, so the course includes 4 bench rentals to practice the skills learned in the lesson. This course can be combined with the introduction to engraving.

Introduction to engraving.

This introduction course for engraving will teach you graver sharpening, basic cuts and techniques. Using GRS graver max and how to understand the graver machine. How to work under a microscope. The tools an engraver uses such as a ball vice. Learn how to cut basic patterns and scrolls. This is technically challenging and requires some extra practice, so the course includes four bench rentals to practice the skills learned in the lesson. This course can be combined with the introduction to optical setting.

The amazing art of enamel is here. Learn the core techniques of vitreous enamel. Create a cloisonné enamel piece and set it in a piece of jewellery. This combination course incorporates enamelings and jewellery making. Or just focus on the enamel technique. Using quality products and an enamel kiln. The joy and art of colours.
